Welcome to the 1% Club

We encourage all pupils to be the very best learners they can. We tell pupils that anything is possible. Rather than giving pupils an academic target which suggests there is a limit to their achievements, we give pupils a MEG – Minimum Expected Grade. This way, pupils know they can reach for the stars – there are no limits.GCSE Grade 9 is the highest grade possible. Many Weaverham pupils achieve this impressive level in at least one or more of their examinations. Nationally, approximately 1% of 16 year olds gain a Grade 9 in every GCSE they take, but Weaverham is different. We are proud to introduce you to the 1% Club 2023.

GCSE 2024 – 2025 Exam Result Information

School will be open Thursday 21st August 2025 – 9am – 11am for Year 11 students and 11am – 12pm for Year 10 students to collect their 2025 exam results.
