Meet the Team:

At Weaverham, each year group is led by a Head of Year. These are teachers in school who oversee the whole year group. Each Year group also has a Pastoral Support Manager (PSM) assigned. These are non-teaching staff who work closely with the Head of year to ensure any issues are addressed in school quickly and effectively.
Each year has eight Form Tutors who take their form, where possible from Year 7 through to Year 11. We understand the importance of knowing our students and the Year Teams are a critical part of making each student’s secondary school journey a successful one.

Reintegration Studio

Hannah Riding Reintegration Lead

I am the Reintegration Lead for Weaverham high school. I have worked at Weaverham High School for 17 years. I work within the school, in our Reintegration Studio which aims to provide bespoke intervention for students who struggle to access the full mainstream provision. This intervention is bespoke to the needs of the students. I work with students to overcome barriers with a view to reintegrating them back into their lessons, this is done using a trauma informed approach. The Reintegration Studio promotes curriculum equity and has an academic focus. Students follow an academic timetable, taught by subject specialists and through a graduated and appropriate approach will return to lessons.
